**Job Title**
Lead Category Manager – Beauty & Wellness (H/F/X)
**Role Summary**
Strategic commercial leader responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and category growth in skin, hair, and body‑care segments. Works closely with cross‑functional teams, manages a portfolio of existing brands, and expands the category through new brand acquisition. Leads a small team of Key Account Managers and Sales Analysts, ensuring high performance and alignment with corporate objectives.

- Represent the category internally and provide accurate reporting to senior management.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, analytical rigor, and negotiation skills within an e‑commerce context.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, document, and execute a short‑ to long‑term category development strategy, including vision, operational plans, and market positioning.
- Manage end‑to‑end sales processes: planning, contracting, negotiation, and execution of agreements with brands.
- Conduct regular performance analysis of sales metrics (volume, revenue, margin, conversion, stock levels) to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead brand acquisition initiatives: prospecting, evaluation, and onboarding of new partners.
- Co‑author business plans with partners, negotiate sales calendars, pricing, and bundled offers.
- Serve as category subject‑matter expert: participate in industry events, publish in trade media, and deliver training to internal stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate a team of 2–3 Key Account Managers and 3 Sales Analysts; facilitate 1‑to‑1s, team meetings, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, and Production to synchronize category plans and ensure supply‑chain efficiency.
- Report on category performance and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial leadership and brand partnership management.
- Strong negotiation and contract‑management skills with senior‑level stakeholders.
- Expertise in data analysis and performance‑driven decision‑making.
- Ability to identify and prospect new market opportunities and brands.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s (Bac+4/5) in Business, Marketing, or related field from a university or business school.
- Minimum of 7 years in a commercial role within e‑commerce or beauty retail, with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Management certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are an advantage but not mandatory.
