**Job Title** Business Development Executive **Role Summary** A high‑energy outbound sales professional responsible for generating qualified appointments with prospective clients. The role focuses on prospecting, pipeline management, and hand‑over of leads to the sales team, contributing directly to business growth. **Expectations** - Deliver appointment‑setting targets consistently. - Achieve and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) set by management. - Maintain compliance with FCA TCF principles and internal audit procedures. - Continuously improve prospecting processes and share innovative ideas. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Prospecting & Marketing** - Identify and research prospective clients, focusing on key decision‑makers. - Initiate contact via outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels. - Gather detailed prospect information (renewal dates, providers, fees). - Log all interactions accurately in the CRM and maintain database hygiene. - Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales team, ensuring smooth hand‑over. 2. **Pipeline Management** - Perform regular database cleansing and update prospect data. - Manage daily task lists and diary entries to sustain a consistent outreach cadence. 3. **Collaboration & Process Improvement** - Support marketing projects and campaign execution. - Contribute ideas to new business initiatives and suggest process enhancements. - Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers. 4. **Compliance & Standard Operating Procedures** - Adhere to FCA TCF guidelines and company procedures. - Participate in internal audits and maintain required training and competence levels. **Required Skills** - Proven success in a telemarketing or outbound sales role. - Strong verbal and written communication, proficient in English (grammar and style). - Resilience, tenacity, and a proactive mindset. - Excellent research and prospecting capabilities. - Proficiency in CRM systems and database management. - Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills; strong organisational and administrative abilities. - Ability to manage workload independently and work efficiently in a team environment. - Capacity to build and sustain positive internal and external relationships. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of a secondary school qualification or equivalent. - Relevant sales or customer‑interaction certifications preferred (e.g., HABC or equivalent).
