Job Description

**Job Title:** Robotics Software Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and deploy software systems for autonomous robotics, focusing on perception, autonomy, and hardware integration to enable real-world automation in logistics and manufacturing environments. **Expectations** Demonstrate strong ownership of software projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive innovation through hands-on engineering, testing, and iteration on live robotic systems. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect and implement software solutions for robotics, including low-level hardware control and high-level autonomy. - Develop and maintain C++/Python codebases using ROS (Robot Operating System) and Linux environments. - Execute Agile workflows, including sprint planning, scoping tasks, and adhering to SDLC processes. - Lead design reviews, code reviews, and test validation for reliability and scalability. - Conduct hands-on testing, field trials, and beta deployments to validate robotic system performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, marketing) on R&D product releases. **Required Skills** - Proficient in C/C++ and Python. - Hands-on expertise with Linux systems and scripting. - Strong understanding of ROS (Robot Operating System). - Experience with Agile development methodologies and SOPs. - Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, and deployment strategies. - Knowledge of low-level communication protocols (TCP/IP, CAN, SPI). - Practical experience with embedded systems, sensors (LIDAR, encoders), and motor controllers. - Competence in version control (Git) and test-driven development. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. - 3+ years of experience designing/developing production software systems.
