**Job Title** Staff Application / Product Security Engineer **Role Summary** Lead the design, development, and adoption of scalable security tools, frameworks, and automation that embed secure‑by‑design principles into engineering workflows. Drive the intersection of engineering, product, and compliance by creating developer‑centric security solutions, AI‑enabled guidance, and a culture of security excellence. **Expectations** - Deliver secure software development solutions that are intuitive, reusable, and align with product and business goals. - Influence engineering teams to adopt security practices that do not impede velocity. - Own the vision and execution of security tooling, governance, and champion programs across a global organization. **Key Responsibilities** - Research, design, and build scalable security tools, frameworks, and automation for secure development pipelines. - Develop developer‑centric security experiences and self‑service capabilities integrated into engineering workflows. - Leverage AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to produce context‑aware security guidance and automated remediation. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Compliance to embed security reviews, sprints, and roadmaps. - Provide expertise in cloud‑native, containerized, and service‑oriented architectures (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes). - Partner with cross‑functional leaders to align security with developer velocity and experience. - Build and expand a Security Champions program to promote a security culture worldwide. **Required Skills** - 10+ years in application or product security. - Proven experience in secure software development, threat modeling, and SDLC integration. - Hands‑on building or integrating developer‑facing security tools. - Strong knowledge of cloud and container security (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes). - Demonstrated influence over engineering practices and security adoption. - Excellent communication and cross‑functional leadership. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSA, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer) preferred. ---
