Job title: Salesforce Test Engineer
Role Summary
Design, develop and execute automated and manual test solutions for Salesforce-based applications, ensuring quality across development lifecycles and delivering defect-free releases.
Expactations
- Minimum 3 years of testing automation experience with tools such as Selenium, Appium, TOSCA, or a comparable suite.
- Strong Salesforce platform knowledge and previous automation on Salesforce environments.
- Proven experience building automation frameworks with Java (or JavaScript/Python) and BDD/TDD approaches.
- Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline utilization with Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
- Competence in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
- Familiarity with container services (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
- Agile/Lean development and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for Salesforce solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java‑based automation frameworks integrated with Selenium, Serenity BDD, and Maven.
- Execute functional, integration, and regression tests, reporting defects and tracking resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve quality.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing strategies, processes, and tooling to increase efficiency.
- Engage in client interactions, presenting test results and strengthening relationships.

- Automation tools: Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, JUnit, RestAssured, TOSCA, WorkSoft, UiPath, MicroFocus UFT, Perfecto.
- Programming: Java, JavaScript, Python.
- Salesforce development and testing.
- BDD/TDD methodology.
- API test tools: Postman, RestAssured, Karate.
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP (knowledge preferred).
- SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) and Git version control.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (preferred).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Test Best Practices) are a plus.
