Serve as the first line of defense and an architect of the security strategy across a cloud‑hosting environment. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 years of operational security experience, ideally within cloud hosting, MSP, or security operations. - Strong understanding of cloud operations and cloud‑native security controls. - Proven ability to manage SIEM, vulnerability management, and other MSP security tools. - Willingness to travel occasionally. - Fluency in English (written and spoken). **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Deploy, configure, and maintain security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, access controls). 2. Conduct continuous threat research, analyze attack vectors, and translate findings into actionable security measures. 3. Lead incident triage and response, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to mitigate impact. 4. Reduce enterprise‑wide risk through technical controls, awareness programs, and clear guidance. 5. Support internal and external audits, ensuring processes are structured, documented, and compliant with regulations. 6. Collaborate with other departments to embed security into projects and initiatives, ensuring security is integral to business strategy. **Required Skills:** - Operational security management in cloud or MSP environments - Expertise with SIEM platforms, vulnerability management, and security tooling - Incident response and threat analysis capabilities - Risk assessment and mitigation planning - Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder collaboration - Ability to travel as needed - Fluent English **Required Education & Certifications:** - College diploma or degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or related field. - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) preferred.
