**Job title**
Cybersecurity Engineer – Technical (H/F)
**Role Summary**
Senior technical engineer supporting a 4‑person cybersecurity consulting team. Designs, implements, and maintains secure infrastructures; handles Level 2/3 incident response; develops and updates security processes and training programs.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end security architecture and operational support.
- Proactively drive improvements and sustain secure environments.
- Collaborate efficiently with cross‑functional teams and independently own responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and deploy robust security architectures (firewalls, AD, VPN, application controls).
- Integrate, configure, and maintain cybersecurity solutions (XDR, WAF, SIEM, PAM).
- Manage Level 2 and Level 3 cyber incidents and coordinate resolution.
- Propose, implement, and update security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Plan and execute security awareness initiatives (training, phishing simulations, newsletters).
- Translate audit and penetration‑test findings into actionable remediation plans, coordinating with IT teams.
- Support global best‑practice adoption and continuous improvement cycles.
**Required Skills**
- 3+ years as a cybersecurity engineer or similar role.
- Strong technical expertise in network and application security, identity management, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with XDR, WAF, SIEM, PAM, firewall, AD, VPN, and vulnerability management tools.
- Incident response, threat hunting, and change‑management processes.
- Ability to develop and update procedures, policies, and audit reports.
- Excellent collaborative, communication, and self‑direction abilities.
- Familiarity with phishing simulation design and execution.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years proven cybersecurity engineering experience.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent security credentials.
