Job title: Interim Finance Director (6‑9 Months FTC)
Role Summary:
Lead finance transformation and system integration for a mid‑size organization. Working directly with the CFO, deliver operational efficiencies, automation, and stronger reporting while developing a highly skilled, engaged finance team through a period of change.
Expectations:
* Deliver a fully integrated ERP (NetSuite) and related technology stack within the contract period.
* Build and maintain a high‑performance finance organization aligned to business objectives.
* Enhance board, lender, and executive reporting, cash flow forecasting, and working‑capital controls.
* Execute change management initiatives with measurable improvements in process, data integrity, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner with the CFO to assess and redesign the finance organization structure and processes.
2. Engage finance personnel to identify challenges, improvement opportunities, and develop role clarity.
3. Lead the integration and optimisation of ERP systems, primarily NetSuite, with ancillary tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, and AI solutions.
4. Implement best‑practice cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital management frameworks.
5. Strengthen reporting workflows for the Board, Group, lenders, and Digital Leadership Team, ensuring consistency, automation, and data accuracy.
6. Provide hands‑on guidance on financial modeling, technical accounting, and compliance.
7. Champion continuous improvement and knowledge transfer within the finance team.
Required Skills:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Post‑qualification experience (PQE) of 5+ years, with finance controller exposure in a complex or fast‑paced environment.
* Proven net‑suite finance lead with strong hands‑on system ownership and optimisation capability.
* SAP/SaaS experience is an advantage.
* Expertise in Power BI, AI, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and analytics.
* Robust ERP and systems integration skills, including data governance and automation.
* Strong change‑management, modelling, and technical accounting acumen.
Required Education & Certifications:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification plus a relevant finance or accounting degree.
