Salesforce Technical Architect
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions within a large transformation program. Drive scalable, secure, high‑performance designs, guide development teams, and bridge business strategy with technical execution.
**Expectations**
- Own technical architecture, including integrations, data, and security.
- Big picture ownership of solution design, governance, and quality.
- Mentor teams, enforce best practices, and manage risks.
- Contribute to pre‑sales, discovery, and proof‑of‑concept activities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own end‑to‑end Salesforce technical architecture for large programmes.
- Design scalable, high‑performance solutions across Sales, Service, and Platform clouds.
- Lead decisions on data migration, data quality, system integrations/APIs, third‑party apps, and custom development (Apex, Lightning).
- Act as trusted advisor, providing strategic and technical guidance to stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor development teams to adhere to standards.
- Drive solution design, governance, and quality assurance across delivery.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders.
- Identify risks, manage complex technical challenges proactively.
- Contribute to pre‑sales activities, discovery sessions, and proofs of concept.
- Engage with product teams and vendors to support solution delivery.
**Required Skills**
- 12+ years enterprise architecture, 10+ on Salesforce platform.
- Proven Technical Architect role in large‑scale Salesforce implementations.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, integration patterns, data modelling/migration, security, and governance.
- Development proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components; familiarity with Java/.NET or similar.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influence at senior levels.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Valid UK right‑to‑work status.
