**Job title:** Head of Financial Planning Analysis **Role Summary:** Lead the Strategic Finance team to drive long‑term financial strategy, oversee full cycle planning, forecasting, and analysis, and provide data‑driven insights that shape executive decision‑making. **Expactations:** - Deliver forward‑looking financial plans, including monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. - Build scalable financial models for profitability, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation. - Design and refine investment governance and capital allocation frameworks. - Act as trusted advisor to executives, influencing strategy and operational decisions. - Champion financial discipline, margin and KPI management, and performance benchmarking. **Key Responsibilities:** - Set vision and standards for financial planning processes across the organization. - Develop, maintain, and enhance robust financial models covering profitability and long‑term scenarios. - Create and evolve investment governance frameworks to guide capital allocation decisions. - Advise executive leadership with clear, insightful analyses that inform strategic choices. - Define evaluation and prioritisation methods for initiatives to ensure financial discipline. - Lead company‑wide margin and KPI tracking, establishing metrics that drive accountability. - Communicate financial insights effectively to leadership and the board, translating data into compelling narratives. - Coordinate forecasting processes in partnership with business teams and executive priorities. - Conduct competitive and internal performance analyses to inform strategy. - Oversee FP&A transformation initiatives to scale reporting, forecasting, and planning capabilities. - Benchmark performance against industry leaders to maintain competitiveness. **Required Skills:** - Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and investment evaluation. - Strong analytical prowess and storytelling ability to simplify complex data. - Leadership presence and stakeholder management across cross‑functional teams. - Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, anticipate challenges, and solve complex problems. - Experience managing high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Qualified CIMA, ACA, or ACCA. - Significant FP&A or Strategic Finance experience, ideally in high‑growth, e‑commerce or retail environments.
