Job Description
Job title: Internal IT Applications Engineer Role Summary: Provide expert support and administration for internal IT application platforms (SAP Business ByDesign, HubSpot, ServiceNow, DocuSign, servicePath). Drive process improvement, reduce technical debt, automate workflows, and ensure compliance and security across the organization. Expectations: * Deliver high‑quality, customer‑centric service within defined SLAs/OLAs. * Actively reduce technical debt and support continual service improvement. * Mentor peers, promote ownership, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. * Obtain and maintain SC/NPPV security clearances. Key Responsibilities: * Respond to and resolve support tickets; handle escalated incidents for ERP, CRM, ITSM, e‑signature, and quoting platforms. * Execute on‑boarding/off‑boarding & system administration for SAP ByD, HubSpot, ServiceNow, DocuSign, servicePath. * Own license management for all listed platforms. * Raise third‑party support tickets as needed and adhere to corporate policies and compliance frameworks. * Assist IT Manager with strategy, scope definition, and backlog prioritisation. * Develop and review business processes, identify automation opportunities, and implement or coordinate solutions. * Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement long‑term fixes, and apply ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management principles. * Create and maintain technical documentation and end‑user guides. * Collaborate with Service Desk, Internal IT Support, Security, and Compliance teams. * Proactively identify and mitigate security risks. * Mentor and train team members; foster a culture of accountability. Required Skills: * Hands‑on administrative experience with SAP Business ByDesign, HubSpot, and ServiceNow. * Minimum 2 years providing 2nd‑line support or system administration in an SME environment. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organisational skills. * Attention to detail and commitment to “right‑first‑time” delivery. * Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams. * Self‑motivated, task‑ownership mindset; ability to meet deadlines and keep stakeholders informed. * Ability to obtain and maintain SC and NPPV security clearances. Required Education & Certifications: * No specific degree required; relevant IT experience and proven platform administration skills are essential. * Familiarity with ITIL principles is desirable.
