Job Title: ServiceNow Technical Architect
Role Summary: Lead enterprise‑wide migration of custom-built applications to ServiceNow, owning discovery workshops, fit‑gap analysis, solution design, client engagement, and proposal development. Drive architectural strategy, integration patterns, and modernization frameworks across CSM, FSM, WSD, SPM/PPM, Knowledge Management, HRSD, and App Engine Studio. Serve as primary SME, providing governance, best‑practice guidance, and licensing strategy for a multi‑app migration program.
Expectations: • 12+ years of ServiceNow ecosystem experience in architecture or consulting roles. • Proven track record of design‑to‑delivery for large‑scale migration or modernization initiatives. • Deep understanding of core platform (CMDB, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub) and functional lines (CSM, FSM, WSD, SPM/PPM, Knowledge, App Engine). • Experience performing functional & technical mapping, fit‑gap analysis, and migration blueprints. • Strong presales acumen: ability to craft solution narratives, ROI arguments, and architecture decks for senior executives. • Excellent client‑facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Prefer experience in hyperscale or large enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead technical discovery workshops with functional/technical stakeholders to capture business objectives and existing custom app capabilities. • Identify and map ServiceNow modules that align with client needs, develop solution architecture, fit‑gap analyses, and migration roadmaps. • Collaborate with architecture teams to define data models, integration patterns with enterprise systems (Identity, Cloud, Analytics) and recommend modernization frameworks (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, App Engine Studio, Automation Engine). • Draft and support solution proposals, effort estimates, implementation roadmaps, and business cases. • Serve as SME for migration program, contributing to governance, best‑practice reference models, reusable templates, licensing strategy, and performance testing considerations.
Required Skills: • ServiceNow platform architecture and solutioning. • Migration methodology and modernisation practices. • Functional and technical mapping of legacy/custom applications. • Integration design and data modeling. • Presales solution development, ROI storytelling, and executive presentations. • Stakeholder management and collaborative leadership. • Familiarity with enterprise ecosystem integration (Identity, Cloud, Analytics).
Required Education & Certifications: • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – mandatory. • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in at least two modules (e.g., HRSD, CSM, SPM, App Engine). • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
