**Job Title**: Data Engineer – Statistics Intern **Role Summary** Data Engineering Statistics Intern – support the data team in building, deploying, and maintaining BI reports and advanced statistical analyses for clients, managing the full data pipeline from ETL to dashboard creation, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements. **Expectations** - Complete a minimum 5‑month internship or gap year as a final‑year engineering or computer science student. - Contribute to the development of client reporting solutions and data warehouse enhancements. - Work collaboratively within a team of data analysts and engineers, and interact with clients for requirement gathering. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze client BI needs and translate them into technical specifications. - Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation. - Build advanced statistical reports and dashboards using modern BI tools. - Maintain and optimize the company data warehouse in alignment with evolving client demands. - Support ongoing reporting operations, ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Excel for data analysis. - Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. - Familiarity with version control (Git). - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Effective communication skills for client interaction and requirement elicitation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in an engineering, computer science, or equivalent scientific master’s program. - Seeking a final‑year internship or academic leave (minimum 5 months). - No specific certifications required.
