**Job Title:** Automation & Data Developer (Intern) **Role Summary:** Support the Product team in designing and implementing a robust automation and data‑engineering ecosystem to sustain rapid, multi‑city growth. Build and maintain PostgreSQL databases, create internal automation tools, develop reporting dashboards, and contribute to the overall automation strategy while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders. **Expectations:** - Deliver reliable database solutions and automation scripts that reduce manual effort. - Ensure high data quality and system stability across all internal tools. - Produce clear documentation and knowledge‑transfer materials for teams. - Stay current with emerging technologies and propose continuous improvements. - Communicate effectively in English and work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL databases; write performant SQL and edge functions. - Maintain database health, troubleshoot bugs, implement fixes, and document changes. - Identify low‑value repetitive processes and build secure internal automations (JavaScript, JSON). - Collect, transform, and organize data to generate reliable reports and interactive dashboards. - Contribute to the definition and evolution of the company’s automation and data‑engineering strategy. - Conduct regular technology scouting and recommend new tools or best practices. - Produce technical documentation, user guides, and process manuals for internal adoption. **Required Skills:** - Strong SQL proficiency and experience with PostgreSQL. - Programming: JavaScript, JSON; comfortable writing edge functions or serverless scripts. - Knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and performance tuning. - Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues independently. - Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (optional but beneficial). - Good written and spoken English; French language skills a plus. - Analytical mindset, curiosity, and strong problem‑solving orientation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university engineering program or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. - No specific certifications required; demonstrated coursework or projects in databases and programming is expected.
