Job Title: Content Creator (Freelance)
Role Summary:
Deliver creative, platform‑specific content (text, video, images, interactive) that resonates with audiences across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital channels. Lead the in‑house content team, upskill junior creators, and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to produce high‑impact, brand‑aligned material.
Expactations:
- Commit to a full‑time freelance contract for November with potential extension.
- Produce consistently engaging, data‑driven content that meets tight deadlines.
- Uphold client brand guidelines and tone of voice while injecting fresh, innovative storytelling.
- Lead and mentor a two‑person junior creator team, sharing expertise and improving output quality.
- Engage actively in brainstorming and strategy sessions, offering bold, original concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute always‑on content calendars and bespoke campaign content for each platform.
- Write compelling copy, scripts, and prompts optimized for social media hooks and voiceovers.
- Edit and adapt video footage, images, and interactive elements to platform specifications.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze insights, and adjust content strategies for maximum engagement.
- Research current trends in pop culture, digital media, and advertiser expectations to inform creative direction.
- Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, designers, and senior creatives to maintain quality and consistency.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and training to junior creators.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a content creator for commercial brands; portfolio showcasing multi‑format work.
- Expertise in Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok content production, including video editing and visual storytelling.
- Strong written and spoken English; fluency in French or Dutch is a plus.
- Strategic thinking with a data‑driven approach to content performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and mentorship abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Creativity and originality in concept ideation, pushing creative boundaries beyond current best practices.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Production, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant certifications in social media strategy, video production, or digital marketing are highly desirable.
