**Job Title**
IT Operations Manager – Application Support
**Role Summary**
Lead the maintenance and operational readiness of critical IT systems for a large gas distribution network, ensuring 24/7 availability and cybersecurity compliance. Manage a technical team, budget, and key performance indicators while coordinating with application domains and specialty cyber services to deliver best‑practice service.
**Expactations**
- Minimum 5 years in IT operations within highly available, security‑critical environments (e.g., utilities, critical infrastructure).
- Proven technical leadership and cross‑functional coordination experience.
- Strong familiarity with ITIL process framework (Change, Incident, Problem Management).
- Hands‑on expertise in cloud (private, public, hybrid) and container orchestration (AWS, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and application integration.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, high‑availability, resilience, and systems monitoring.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain operational readiness of critical IT systems (24/7 service); troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
- Support application domains in project delivery, integration, and go‑live phases.
- Collaborate with other expertise poles (Cyber, Network, Data) to provide end‑to‑end service excellence.
- Lead and develop the application support team; conduct performance reviews and skill growth.
- Manage the support pool’s budget; track financials and KPIs.
- Participate in on‑call rotas (astreintes) to ensure rapid response to emergencies.
- Produce and maintain documentation (runbooks, SOPs, incident reports).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, tooling, and automation.
**Required Skills**

- ITIL v3/v4 – Change, Incident, Problem, Release/Deployment Management.
- Operating systems: Windows Server, Linux.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or equivalent; hybrid cloud architecture.
- Container platforms: Kubernetes, Docker.
- DevOps tools: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Networking, storage, database fundamentals.
- Cybersecurity concepts – risk assessment, vulnerability management, monitoring.
