**Job Title:** AI Cloud Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Hands‑on engineer responsible for designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable AI‑enabled cloud solutions primarily on Azure, with exposure to Oracle Cloud and AWS. Drives automation, IaC, CI/CD, and responsible AI governance for a financial services environment.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end cloud and AI solutions that meet security, compliance, and cost‑efficiency standards.
- Write production‑grade code and automation scripts in Python and PowerShell.
- Operate and support solutions in both BAU and project phases.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve platform stability and enforce AI guardrails.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement Azure‑first cloud architectures; extend to Oracle Cloud and AWS as needed.
- Develop automation, integration, and AI‑driven components using IaC (Bicep, ARM, Terraform).
- Build and maintain REST APIs, API‑Management gateways, and identity‑aware patterns (OAuth2, client‑credential flows).
- Provide operational support and incident resolution for cloud and AI workloads.
- Create architectural diagrams and engineering documentation for repeatable solution patterns.
- Establish and enforce governance controls, AI model lifecycle, and regulatory‑compliant AI usage.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and reusable automation frameworks.
**Required Skills:**
- **Cloud Platforms:** Deep Azure engineering (PaaS, Entra ID), familiarity with Oracle Cloud & AWS.
- **Programming/Scripting:** Python (essential), PowerShell.
- **Infrastructure‑as‑Code:** Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform.
- **AI/ML:** Azure OpenAI, OpenAI SDK, GPT models, embeddings, vector workflows, prompt engineering with safety controls.
- **API Development:** REST API design, Azure API Management or equivalent, OAuth2/identity flows.
- **Governance & Compliance:** AI guardrails, security patterns, financial‑services regulatory awareness.
- **DevOps:** CI/CD pipeline creation, reusable automation frameworks.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or comparable cloud/AI certifications.
