Job Description

Job title: AWS Serverless Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain a regulatory reporting cloud solution that integrates data from internal source systems, third‑party reporting platforms, and regulatory hubs using AWS serverless technologies. Expectations: Deliver robust, scalable, and secure services on AWS; collaborate with architects and leads; ensure compliance and quality of code and integrations. Key Responsibilities: - Build and deploy integration pipelines utilizing APIs, file‑based, and web services. - Develop and refactor code for containerised or serverless environments (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, Glue, SNS, SQS, Spark). - Implement microservices and containerised solutions for the ROSA platform. - Write maintainable, well‑tested Python and Java code. - Perform unit, integration, and functional testing; troubleshoot production issues. - Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and solution design. - Document architecture, code, and deployment procedures. Required Skills: - Strong experience in Python (mandatory) and Java (mandatory). - Proven ability to build integration solutions using APIs, file transfer, and web services. - Familiarity with containerisation and container‑oriented AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, Glue, SNS, SQS). - Broad knowledge of AWS compute, storage, and database services. - Experience with microservice architectures on ROSA or similar cloud platforms. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred). ---
