**Job Title:** Senior Security Technician
**Role Summary:**
Provide end‑to‑end technical support for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial security systems, including alarm, video, access control, and integrated fire‑alarm solutions. Serve as a primary technical resource for customers and coordinate with project managers to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.

- Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and company standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Installation & Programming** – Install, configure, and commission security devices per schematics and standards; write and modify non‑routine control programs.
2. **Testing & Certification** – Perform performance tests, system start‑ups, and end‑of‑project certifications; document results.
3. **Customer Support** – Respond to scheduled maintenance, emergency, and after‑hours service calls; diagnose and repair equipment and software issues.
4. **Project Coordination** – Work with project managers to assess risks, adjust scope, manage timelines, and track project costs.
5. **Documentation** – Prepare accurate service reports, warranty records, and close‑out documentation for invoicing and customer reference.
6. **Training & Knowledge Transfer** – Conduct customer training sessions; provide technical guidance to end users and peers.
7. **Quality & Continuous Improvement** – Evaluate system performance, recommend improvements, and support product enhancement initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- Expert knowledge of alarm, video, access control, and fire‑alarm technologies.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Advanced troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction and reporting.
- Ability to write and modify program code for security integrators.
- Project management basics: schedule coordination, risk identification, cost tracking.
- Mentoring and leadership capabilities for junior staff.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field *or* equivalent technical experience.
- Valid electrical or HVAC permit where required.
- Vendor certifications (e.g., Bosch, Honeywell, Hikvision, GEN4, G4, or similar) are strongly preferred.
- First Aid/CPR and basic safety training in accordance with local regulations.
