**Job Title**: Business Analyst **Role Summary** Deliver business analysis across government, healthcare, and private sector projects. Gather, analyse, and transform stakeholder needs into clear, actionable requirements. Collaborate with developers, user researchers, and cross‑functional teams to design solutions that meet business objectives while adhering to quality, security, and environmental standards. **Expectations** - Hold active Security Clearance (SC) or meet eligibility criteria for SC (UK citizenship, continuous UK residence 5+ years, no single absences >28 days). - Based within a 40‑mile radius of Newcastle, Leeds, or Manchester. - Work in hybrid environment, including regular travel to client sites. - Demonstrate strong analytical, facilitation, and problem‑solving skills. - Apply UK Government Service Standard where applicable. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Requirements Management** – Elicit, document, and prioritise business needs using techniques such as workshops, user stories, and process mapping. 2. **Stakeholder Engagement** – Build and maintain relationships with business owners, users, and technical teams; translate requirements into project artefacts. 3. **Documentation & Communication** – Produce clear, concise requirement specifications, use cases, and diagrams; present complex information understandably to non‑technical audiences. 4. **Collaboration** – Work closely with developers, QA, and research teams to ensure requirements are feasible and align with project goals. 5. **Quality & Compliance** – Ensure work meets Opencast and client policies on quality, security, and environmental standards. 6. **Continuous Improvement** – Identify and implement improvements to analysis processes, share best practices, and challenge sub‑optimal decisions constructively. 7. **Workload Management** – Plan and manage own tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives. **Required Skills** - Business analysis techniques (e.g., SWOT, gap analysis, user journeys). - Requirement elicitation, documentation, and validation. - Stakeholder relationship building and facilitation. - Strong verbal and written communication. - Analytical reasoning and problem‑solving. - Team collaboration and cross‑functional coordination. - Knowledge of agile delivery principles (highly desirable). **Required Education & Certifications** - No specific degree requirement stated. - SC Security Clearance currently held or eligibility to obtain. - UK citizenship and continuous UK residence (≥5 years). ---

Job Description
Job Title: Solution Architect – Senior Consultant (Contract) Role Summary: Take full ownership of end‑to‑end client solutions, aligning them with business outcomes, technology strategy, commercial and governance requirements. Deliver architecture blueprints (business, data, application, technology) and ensure successful implementation across delivery teams. Expectations: - Adopt and deliver solutions that meet UK government digital service standards, including GDS Toolkit. - Communicate effectively with governance boards, stakeholder groups, and delivery teams. - Maintain compliance with Opencast, client, and UK information security, quality and environmental policies. - Hold or be eligible for an active Security Clearance (SC). Key Responsibilities: • Design and produce solutions blueprints covering business, data, application, and technology layers. • Align architecture with business goals, technology strategy, and commercial constraints. • Lead stakeholder engagement: build relationships with senior stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into architecture solutions. • Guide delivery teams to implement the architecture, ensuring adherence to Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices. • Ensure governance, security, and compliance requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. • Demonstrate business value of proposed solutions and articulate benefits to stakeholders.
