Job Description

**Job Title:** Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Bridge business needs and technical solutions by designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, analytics, and BI dashboards. Drive data‑driven product decisions, support product owners, and ensure data integrity across the organization. **Expectations:** - 5+ years of experience blending business analysis with technical development. - Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities. - Ability to work cross‑functionally with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams. - Comfortable with up to 8 hours of computer work daily and occasional travel. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather, document, and deliver business and technical requirements. - Model, document, and communicate business processes, data flows, and system functionality. - Design and implement end‑to‑end ETL solutions (extraction, transformation, loading). - Build and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI visualizations. - Apply statistical or machine‑learning methods to extract actionable insights. - Prioritize product features with product owners based on data insights. - Maintain product documentation, version control, and best‑practice standards. - Perform data validation, testing, and creation of test cases. - Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities. - Stay current on APIs, authentication, data analytics, and product‑management trends. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with Power BI and other BI tools. - Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills. - Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure or AWS). - Understanding of data integration, pipelines, and analytics architecture. - Knowledge of agile methodologies and user‑story creation. - Ability to produce technical documentation and data workflow diagrams. - Problem‑solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. - Programming knowledge (e.g., Python, R) considered an asset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, AWS/Azure Data Engineer, Agile/Scrum) are advantageous but not mandatory.
