Job Description

Job Title: Senior Java Developer – FX Front E‑Trading Platform Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, low‑latency FX trading components for an electronic trading platform. Work closely with traders and cross‑functional technology teams to deliver scalable solutions that support real‑time FX cash and electronic trading. Expectations: 10+ years of professional Java development experience with a strong focus on finance or electronic trading systems; proven ability to build multi‑threaded, low‑latency applications; solid knowledge of SQL; comfortable operating in Agile environments; familiarity with DevOps practices is desirable. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement FX trading modules with performance and reliability at the forefront. • Build scalable, low‑latency solutions that meet regulatory and market requirements. • Collaborate closely with traders and product owners to define functional specifications. • Maintain high code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous integration. • Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives in an Agile setting. Required Skills: • Expert Java development (core, collections, concurrency, JVM tuning). • In‑depth understanding of FX cash and electronic trading workflows. • Experience with multi‑threaded, low‑latency application design. • Proficiency in SQL and relational database interaction. • Agile methodology experience (Scrum or similar). • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud or on‑prem deployment (desirable). Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent technical background; industry certifications (e.g., Oracle Java, Agile, or DevOps) are a plus but not mandatory.

Expectations - Design, implement, and govern cloud architectures that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. - Lead deployment of compute, storage, networking, and security services. - Provide technical mentorship, best‑practice guidance, and documentation for sustainable operations.
