**Job Title:** Defensive Cybersecurity Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead and develop the organization’s cyber defensive capabilities by defining and executing a global defensive roadmap. Oversee SOC and SecOps teams, manage incident response, produce executive‑level reporting, and foster a strong security culture across all business units.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience leading defensive security teams (SOC, SecOps).
- Proven ability to mentor, recruit, and develop engineering talent in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational vision with a collaborative, cross‑functional approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proactive, adaptable to evolving technology and business contexts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Design, coordinate, and implement a global defensive roadmap aligned with business and technical risk priorities.
2. Maintain system health and ensure seamless integration with IT and security infrastructure.
3. Lead SOC and SecOps operations, overseeing monitoring, supervision, and security project delivery.
4. Manage incident response activities and coordinate with SOC and other security teams; participate in the security crisis team as needed.
5. Produce regular dashboards and executive reports highlighting key metrics, trends, and risk indicators.
6. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team technical skills and performance standards.
7. Collaborate with internal security functions (fraud, awareness) and support departments (HR, legal, etc.).
8. Champion and embed a robust security culture from a defensive perspective across the organization.

- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GRC, etc.) are a plus but not mandatory.
