Job Description

**Job Title:** Cloud Infrastructure Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, deploy, and manage hybrid Azure and on‑premise infrastructure, including Nutanix or VMware virtualisation, ensuring high availability and security. Lead cloud migration projects and support core cloud services, integrating networking components such as Aruba, HP switches, and ClearPass. **Expectations:** - Hands‑on experience with Azure at a project implementation level, not merely support. - Proven background in networking, virtualisation, and hybrid infrastructure environments. - Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and collaborate across teams. - Availability for hybrid work model (3 days in office). **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect, implement, and maintain Azure cloud solutions and on‑premise Nutanix/VMware infrastructure. - Plan and execute cloud migration initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders. - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot networking devices (Aruba, HP switches) and wireless solutions. - Implement security controls, including ClearPass for access management. - Monitor system performance, capacity, and reliability; perform proactive maintenance. - Document architecture, procedures, and configurations. - Provide guidance and support to team members and end users. **Required Skills:** - Azure – infrastructure as a service (IaaS), virtual networks, Azure Active Directory, Azure Automation. - Virtualisation platforms – Nutanix, VMware ESXi, or equivalent. - Networking – TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Aruba wireless, ClearPass. - Scripting/automation – PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform or similar IaC tools. - Monitoring – Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or equivalent. - Problem‑solving, documentation, and communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent Azure certification. - VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Nutanix certification preferred.
