Data Analyst – Lead (Fully Remote)
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, implementation, and management of an enterprise‑level analytics engine for a fast‑growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand. Drive integration of multi‑channel data (POS, Shopify, subscriptions, marketing attribution) into a unified data warehouse, build scalable reporting models, and create advanced dashboards that inform sales, finance, and product strategy.
**Expectations**
- Own the end‑to‑end data pipeline and analytics architecture.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
- Deliver high‑visibility dashboards and performance metrics that guide inventory, launch, and marketing decisions.
- Operate independently in a startup environment while collaborating across sales, finance, marketing, and operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Centralize heterogeneous data sources (retail POS, Shopify, subscription, marketing attribution) into a single source of truth.
- Architect and maintain scalable data models and pipelines using SQL and modern data‑warehouse principles.
- Build and maintain dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) covering sell‑through velocity, LTV, ROI, and other key metrics.
- Analyze syndicated retail data (SPINS/Nielsen/IRI) to uncover white‑space opportunities and performance trends.
- Partner with Sales and Finance leaders to translate insights into inventory planning, product launches, and strategic initiatives.
**Required Skills**
- 6+ years in data analytics, BI, or data strategy within CPG or retail.
- Advanced SQL for complex data manipulation and pipeline creation.
- Expert proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, capable of communicating insights to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience handling multi‑channel datasets: retailer portals, Shopify, paid social, Google Ads.
- Proven ability to balance architectural design with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced environment.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or equivalent are desirable.
