**Job Title:** ServiceNow Specialist
**Role Summary:**
Provide design, development, configuration, and day‑to‑day production support of the ServiceNow platform to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and serve as the primary escalation point for users. Proactively identify and implement platform enhancements, ensure technical governance, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to meet strategic objectives.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver reliable ServiceNow administration, configuration, and integration.
- Maintain documentation, testing, and peer‑review standards.
- Manage multiple priorities, set clear expectations with internal customers, and ensure compliance with governance and security policies.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, vendors, and senior management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Configure, customize, and administer ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HR, etc.).
- Develop and maintain workflows, scripts, and integrations (e.g., Qualys, Intune, SolarWinds).
- Oversee source‑code repository, CI/CD pipelines, and platform infrastructure.
- Conduct platform enhancements, roadmap input, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage Discovery schedules, ensure operational uptime, and resolve related issues.
- Provide technical advice and support to business users; act as escalation point for incidents.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and compliance artifacts.
- Roll out new modules and functionality to internal teams (e.g., purchase order automation).
- Participate in governance forums and represent technology in industry groups.
**Required Skills:**
- Extensive ServiceNow platform configuration experience.
- Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Strong understanding of ITIL/Service Management practices.
- Experience with full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, DevOps).
- Knowledge of IT operations tools (ITOM, ITAM) and integration techniques.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve data‑related errors.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and business analysis capabilities.
- Strong project management and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with financial services environment (desirable).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- ServiceNow Certified IT Operations Management Discovery Implementer.
- Additional preferred certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management, ServiceNow Delivery Accreditation – Legal Service Delivery.
