Job title: Lead Business Analyst
Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end business and systems analysis for enterprise data platform initiatives. Drive product strategy, roadmap development, and technical architecture, ensuring alignment between technology, business stakeholders, and client demands. Manage a small analytics team, oversee program execution, and uphold data governance and quality standards.
Expectations:
• Deliver actionable product roadmaps over multiple quarters for data platform modernization.
• Serve as the primary liaison among technology, business units, and client stakeholders.
• Mentor and direct two direct reports (Business Analyst & Systems Analyst).
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and prioritize product backlogs; translate strategy into feature specifications.
• Conduct discovery workshops, map end‑to‑end processes, and create user stories, specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Assess current data flows, integrations, and technical dependencies; design future‑state architecture with Databricks, Salesforce, Tableau, SQL, etc.
• Develop phased transition plans from legacy systems to modern data stacks.
• Collaborate with engineering on scalable ETL pipelines, APIs, and monitoring solutions.
• Lead program execution: schedule, risk management, communication, and stakeholder reporting.
• Oversee UAT, test planning, cutover, and post‑launch monitoring.
• Maintain documentation: diagrams, data mappings, interface specs, and compliance artifacts.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years in product management, business analysis, systems analysis, or technical program management.
• Deep experience with data platforms, integrations, and enterprise systems.
• Hands‑on SQL, APIs, ETL/data pipelines, and integration patterns.
• Proficiency with Databricks, Salesforce, Sigma, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to create current/future‑state architectures and roadmap transition plans.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• MBA with technical background or 5+ years of hands‑on technical experience.
• CBAP, PMP, Agile, or cloud/data platform certifications are a plus.
