OT Engineer Consultant F/H
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust IT and OT architecture solutions for a pharmaceutical R&D organization. Ensure alignment with company standards, best practices, and GxP/GVP regulatory requirements, while managing partner‑provided architectural documentation.
**Expectations**
- 10+ years of experience in IT and OT architecture within regulated environments.
- Bachelor’s (Licence) or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in network, cybersecurity, SCADA, PLC, and industrial control systems.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement end‑to‑end IT/OT integration architectures that meet company and regulatory standards.
- Review and validate architecture documentation from third‑party vendors against internal standards.
- Apply architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modeling languages (UML, ArchiMate).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (ISA‑95, NIST, ISO 27001, GxP).
- Translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify gaps, and propose innovative, practical solutions.
- Operate independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional, multicultural teams.
**Required Skills**
- Extensive experience in IT and OT architecture design.
- Deep knowledge of networks, cybersecurity, SCADA, PLC, and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modeling languages (UML, ArchiMate).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including technical simplification for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, international setting.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (Licence) or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications in IT/OT architecture or related fields (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, ISA‑95, ISO 27001) are highly desirable.
