Job Description
Job Title Associate Solutions Architect – Remote (US Hours Coverage – UK Based) Role Summary - Collaborate with Solutions Architecture team to design, implement, and support IriusRisk threat‑modeling solutions. - Learn platform capabilities and sales/test environments to provide foundational guidance to clients. - Document solution designs, best practices, and lessons learned. - Assist in client training, issue escalation, and ongoing support. - Contribute to product enhancement discussions with Sales and Product teams. Expactations - Deliver project tasks on schedule under senior guidance. - Continuously expand knowledge of application security, SaaS, and multi‑cloud deployment. - Build client‑facing communication and relationship‑building skills. - Maintain accurate and organized documentation for internal and client use. - Demonstrate proactive problem‑solving and willingness to step outside comfort zone. Key Responsibilities - Analyze client security requirements with Solutions Architects. - Draft solution design artifacts and maintain versioned documentation. - Support project planning, task assignment, and status reporting. - Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members. - Provide post‑implementation client training and support. - Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, and internal teams to gather feedback for product improvements. - Ensure alignment with SDLC processes and security best practices. - Participate in U.S. North America time‑zone activities as required. Required Skills - Knowledge of application security concepts, risk assessment, and mitigation. - Familiarity with SaaS architectures and multi‑cloud application deployment. - Basic scripting ability or strong willingness to learn (Python, .NET, Java). - Understanding of SDLC and basic project management principles. - Problem‑solving aptitude and structured approach to new challenges. - Effective written and verbal communication; client‑facing potential. - Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Proactive, collaborative, and accountable mindset. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or ISO/IEC 27001) are desirable but not mandatory.
