Job Title: Software Developer 3
Role Summary: Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud‑based full‑stack healthcare applications and microservices, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and high‑performance, low‑latency biomedical transaction requirements.
Expactations: Deliver secure, compliant, and scalable software solutions; architect and refine system architecture; maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and observability frameworks; collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to meet regulatory and business deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build cloud‑based full‑stack healthcare applications using Java (Spring Boot), React.js, and Python.
- Design, implement, and deploy microservices with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS and Oracle Cloud.
- Develop and maintain cloud‑hosted ETL pipelines for semi‑structured clinical data using AWS Glue, AWS Athena, and OCI Data Flow.
- Implement privacy‑aware REST APIs with secure access, audit logging, and compliance with HIPAA/GDPR.
- Architect CI/CD infrastructure with Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
- Apply machine learning and NLP/OCR techniques (Tesseract, Textract, Comprehend Medical) for clinical document intelligence.
- Build observability and log analytics frameworks using Splunk and CloudWatch for regulated applications.
- Implement data exchange protocols using JSON, XML, HL7, and FHIR.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and QA software components.
- Suggest and implement architectural improvements.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Java (Spring Boot), React.js, and Python.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration on AWS and Oracle Cloud.
- Knowledge of AWS services (Glue, Athena, CloudWatch) and OCI equivalents.
- Strong REST API design and security implementation skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in ETL pipeline development and data integration.
- Practical experience with ML/NLP/OCR frameworks (Tesseract, Textract, Comprehend Medical).
- Understanding of HIPAA/GDPR privacy requirements and auditing practices.
- Proficiency with observability tools (Splunk, CloudWatch).
- Working knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and JSON/XML standards.
- Excellent debugging, QA, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 6 years progressive post‑bachelor experience in software development or related occupation.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or equivalent cloud technology credentials are a plus.
