Job title: System & Network Administrator (H/F)
Role Summary:
Provide ongoing maintenance and support across Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Administer network devices (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet), manage user access through AD, Azure AD, and SSO, and oversee virtualized and cloud infrastructures (Nutanix, Azure). Deliver incident resolution, security enforcement, and documentation, while collaborating with internal IT teams and external partners.
Expactations:
- 3–5 years of experience administering systems and networks, ideally in multi-site or educational settings.
- Strong independence in troubleshooting, ticket management, and action documentation.
- Commitment to confidentiality, traceability, and compliance with security policies.
- Availability for shift coverage during team holidays and, when necessary, on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily verification of system operations; respond to Level 1‑2 incidents and, when required, escalation.
- Manage 30–50 tickets weekly via Freshservice, including triage, resolution, and escalation.
- Provide on‑site and remote user support, including basic training.
- Supervise Cisco/Meraki/Fortinet, implement and monitor security zones, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, VLAN.
- Manage AD/Azure AD, SSO, MFA, and RBAC, ensuring audit‑ready logs for all modifications.
- Administer Nutanix and Azure environments, including VM lifecycle and storage.
- Configure backup/restore (Veeam or equivalent) and maintain disaster‑recovery plans.
- Apply patches, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and overall security hardening.
- Monitor performance with PRTG/Zabbix, adjust thresholds, and report on weekly activity.
- Update knowledge base and generate status reports for stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux system administration.
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet hardware and software.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
- Virtualization/Cloud: Nutanix, Azure, and hybrid architecture experience.
- Security best practices: patch management, antivirus, MFA, privileged access, audit logging.
- Ticketing (Freshservice) and monitoring (PRTG, Zabbix) tool proficiency.
- Strong written documentation and reporting skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows Server, CompTIA Linux+, CCNA/CCNP preferred.
