Job Description
**Job title:** Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide advanced business analysis and requirements engineering for large IT projects, focusing on finance and accounting domains. Support Agile development teams by translating business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and process models, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and technical solutions. **Expectations:** - Fluency in English. - Minimum 15 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years in requirements elicitation, 8 years in BPMN, and 5 years in finance/accounting. - Proven ability to work across large organisations and complex information systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct business process modelling (BPMN) and assess system integrations. - Develop business cases, glossaries, vision documents, and business requirements documents. - Elicit, document, and translate user/functional requirements into user stories or use cases. - Perform risk and impact analyses to support decision‑making. - Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings, user meetings, and Agile Sprint Review sessions. - Act as liaison between user services and development teams, ensuring accurate requirement implementation. - Support Project Managers in aligning IT solutions with business needs and applying PM², PM² Agile, or Scrum methodologies. - Utilize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, xWiki), MS Teams, and collaboration platforms. **Required Skills:** - Business process management and BPMN modelling. - Requirements elicitation and documentation (including user stories with acceptance criteria). - UML knowledge (use case, state, entity‑relationship, interaction diagrams). - Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, PM² Agile). - Strong analytical, modelling, and communication skills. - Familiarity with finance and accounting processes in large organisations. - Knowledge of information systems lifecycle, data protection by design, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., EC financial regulation) is an asset. - Proficiency with modelling tools such as SPARX EA or ARIS is an asset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - University degree in IT or a related discipline. - No specific certifications mandated, but certifications in BPM, Agile/Scrum, or project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) are advantageous.
