Job Description

**Job Title:** Junior Offensive Security Consultant **Role Summary:** Conduct formal penetration testing of web applications, infrastructure, and related systems; produce clear technical and non‑technical reports; support client pre‑engagement activities; research and disclose vulnerabilities; develop professional expertise through mentorship and certification pathways. **Expectations:** - Deliver comprehensive security assessments within agreed deadlines. - Produce accurate, well‑structured reports in English. - Maintain effective communication with clients, team leads, and Academy Manager. - Actively pursue industry certifications and continuous skill development. - Contribute to team knowledge sharing and responsible disclosure processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform application, infrastructure, and other penetration testing engagements. - Write concise technical and executive‑level reports following industry standards. - Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation actions. - Participate in client pre‑engagement meetings and debriefs. - Manage project tasks to meet scheduled milestones. - Research new vulnerabilities in web and infrastructure components; follow responsible disclosure. - Support team initiatives, shadow senior consultants, and engage in training labs. - Undertake additional duties as assigned by senior leadership. **Required Skills:** - Fundamental knowledge of application and infrastructure penetration testing. - Understanding of OWASP, PTES, and other testing methodologies. - Familiarity with modern web application design, development, and deployment. - Ability to program or script (any language). - Solid grasp of network, operating system, and virtualization concepts. - Strong written and spoken English communication; high attention to detail. - Customer‑centric mindset, analytical problem‑solving, and creative thinking. - Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. - (Preferred) Security certifications such as OSCP, CREST CRT, or TIGER.
