Job Description
**Job Title** Real Estate Legal Intern (M/F) **Role Summary** Internship within the Real Estate Legal Department of a global commercial property group. The role involves monitoring French real‑estate law, drafting contracts and legal documents, and providing operational legal support to cross‑functional teams. **Expectations** - Active engagement in a fast‑moving, agile environment. - Proactive, audacious problem‑solving and strong initiative. - Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with operational, construction, and property‑management stakeholders. - Business‑oriented mindset and ability to translate legal advice into practical actions. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct legal monitoring: track changes in legislation, regulation, and case law concerning shopping centres, co‑ownership, urban planning, construction, and general contract law. - Perform research and draft a wide variety of contracts and legal documents. - Provide operational legal advice to business units on issues such as co‑ownership, urban planning, construction, litigation, and commercial leasing. - Collaborate with colleagues across legal, finance, operations, and development teams. - Participate in ad‑hoc projects and tasks that align with personal interests and department needs. **Required Skills** *Hard Skills* - Current knowledge of French real‑estate, co‑ownership, urban planning, construction, and contract law. - Strong legal research and drafting abilities. - Familiarity with commercial leases (advantageous). *Soft Skills* - Agile mindset and comfort in dynamic settings. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Initiative, tenacity, and the ability to suggest improvements. - Team orientation and relational aptitude with diverse stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications** - Law student in advanced stage (ELève‑avocat in a public interest program) or higher‑education law student specialising in real‑estate law. - Eligible for a six‑month internship starting July 2026.
