Job Description: **Job Title:** QC Supervisor **Role Summary:** Lead and coordinate a team of ~20 QC Analysts and Support Technicians in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment. Provide guidance, troubleshoot deviations, maintain schedules, and ensure alignment with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to uphold quality control standards. **Expectations:** - Direct leadership: set objectives, deliver feedback, define goals, and support team performance. - Cross‑functional liaison: facilitate collaboration with other departments as needed. - Independent decision‑making: resolve issues by engaging appropriate stakeholders. - Planning agility: adjust schedules and task allocation during unplanned absences or disruptions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise daily QC activities and ensure timely completion of testing. - Review and approve deviation investigations and corrective actions. - Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of trust and continuous improvement. - Communicate results and status updates to Operations, Maintenance & Engineering. - Manage workforce planning, shift coverage, and resource allocation. - Maintain compliance with GMP and internal quality policies. **Required Skills:** - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proven coaching and team‑support capabilities. - Effective decision‑making and problem‑solving skills. - Planning and schedule‑management competence. - Fluent English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline. - Minimum 3 years of QC experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry; prior supervisory experience highly preferred.
