Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Financial Controller **Role Summary:** Oversees financial operations, reporting, audit preparedness, and regulatory compliance for a multi-entity, cross-border organization. Implements scalable processes to support growth and governance. **Expectations:** Experience managing financial reporting, process optimization, and regulatory frameworks in a global environment. Must possess proficiency in accounting systems and data analysis, with a focus on innovation and international operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage month-end/year-end financial closing, consolidations, and reporting across UK, Jersey, and India entities. - Lead balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany invoicing, and audit readiness. - Prepare financial analysis, budget pacing, and performance insights for leadership. - Own day-to-day accounting operations (payroll, expenses, supplier payments). - Execute FCA-regulated reporting and ensure compliance with international accounting standards. - Drive process improvements and leverage AI/technology to streamline finance operations. **Required Skills:** - Strong accounting principles and financial reporting experience (IFRS/US GAAP). - Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). - Expertise in audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (FCA preferred). - Data analysis, problem-solving, and multi-tasking in dynamic environments. - Experience managing cross-functional teams and optimizing financial processes. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent). - Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance and international tax principles.
