Job Description

Job Title: Senior Java Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs for a banking/financial services client, ensuring scalability and high availability on AWS infrastructure. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality code, participate in architecture design, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project milestones. Key Responsibilities: - Build and extend Spring Boot applications and REST APIs. - Design and implement microservices, including deployment to Kubernetes clusters. - Integrate and manage AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.). - Develop and optimize NoSQL data solutions using MongoDB or equivalent. - Actively troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues. - Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, architecture, and documentation. Required Skills: - 8–15 years of Java (Java 11+) development experience. - Deep knowledge of Spring Boot, REST, and microservices architecture. - Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes: deployment, scaling, monitoring. - Proficiency with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.). - Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. - Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive, can‑do attitude. - Background in Banking or Financial Services domain. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
