Job title: Freelance Business Analyst – Asset Management
Role Summary:
Provide functional expertise for the design and implementation of a new regulatory reporting solution. Work closely with internal reporting, IT, and data teams to document requirements, review vendor deliverables, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as KIDs (PRIIIPs/UCITS), Transaction & On‑going charges, Risk & Rewards, CTI/DCPT.
Expectations:
- Deliver accurate functional specifications and testing artifacts.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and vendors.
- Ensure timely delivery of all documentation and reporting outputs.
- Uphold auditability and traceability of all project artefacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document functional changes during provider transition.
- Attend scoping, progress, and testing meetings with vendors and internal teams.
- Review vendor deliverables (report formats, templates, processes).
- Conduct functional acceptance testing (format validation, completeness, consistency).
- Define target operating model and vendor selection criteria.
- Update internal operating manuals, procedures, and internal documentation.
- Track action items, flag blockers, and report status.
- Participate in implementation workshops, coordinate stakeholders (Reporting, IT, Data).
- Prepare meeting minutes, follow‑up summaries, and dashboards.
- Structure project documentation in a shared environment with audit trails.
- Validate Regulatory Reporting team deliverables and communicate issues.
Required Skills:
- Proven Business Analysis experience in asset‑management or financial services.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory reporting (KIDs, PRIIIPs/UCITS, CSRD, CTI/DCPT).
- Functional testing and quality assurance competence.
- Documentation: requirements, process flows, checklists, dashboards.
- Project governance and stakeholder management.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English; French desirable.
- Ability to work independently in a freelance capacity.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
- Professional BA certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA) a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (PRIIIP, UCITS, CSRD) preferred.
