Job Description: **Job Title** Offshore Structural Engineer – Suction Anchors (ABAQUS) **Role Summary** Provide structural design, analysis, and reporting for suction anchors and offshore installation structures within a large EPC subsea project. Utilize ABAQUS for detailed finite element modelling, ensure compliance with lifting, transportation, installation, and in‑place stress/fatigue requirements, and deliver technical documentation to support manufacturing and installation. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, standards‑compliant structural models and reports on schedule - Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary engineering teams and coordinate hand‑offs to drawing and procurement functions - Maintain high quality of technical documentation and adherence to DNV, ISO, and other offshore engineering standards **Key Responsibilities** - Integrate structural elements into the overall NSO global model - Create and validate detailed finite element models in ABAQUS for lifting, transport, installation, and in‑place conditions - Identify and design necessary structural reinforcements or modifications - Produce comprehensive calculation reports summarizing analysis results - Provide engineering data for technical drawings and fabrication guidance **Required Skills** - Minimum 2 years as a Structural Engineer with offshore/subsea project exposure - Proven experience with suction anchor and subsea structural design in an EPC context - Proficiency in finite element analysis, specifically ABAQUS - Strong understanding of offshore structural analysis, DNV, ISO, and subsea installation procedures - Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams and produce clear technical reports - Proficient in reading and drafting technical documentation in English **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) - Demonstrated competency in FEA and offshore structural standards; relevant certifications or validations (e.g., DNV training) preferred.
