Job Description

**Job Title:** Product Owner **Role Summary:** Own and drive the end‑to‑end lifecycle of key business products in a financial services environment. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, using agile practices to translate business objectives into a clear product vision, roadmap, and deliverable features. **Expectations:** - Define and maintain product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals. - Prioritize and manage product backlog, adapting to changing requirements. - Lead Scrum ceremonies and act as the voice of the business throughout the SDLC. - Communicate progress, risks, and value of new features to senior management and users. - Ensure successful UAT, product release, and post‑launch support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements and user stories. - Create and maintain product roadmaps and backlog items. - Conduct design workshops and collaborate with UI/UX teams to align product UI/UX with goals. - Oversee design, development, testing, and delivery of product features. - Lead daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Write UAT scripts, manage UAT execution, and incorporate feedback. - Produce status reports and presentations for stakeholders. - Research market trends and competitor products to inform strategy. - Support senior management in product evaluation and strategic decision‑making. **Required Skills:** - Strong communication – translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences. - Proven agile product ownership experience (3+ years). - Excellent analytical and evidence‑based decision making. - Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). - Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence/Slack, and diagramming tools (Visio, Bizagi). - Familiarity with UX/UI prototyping tools (Balsamiq, Figma, Miro) is a plus. - Stakeholder management and senior‑level presentation skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (high academic standing preferred). - Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification desirable. - Scrum Master certification is a plus. - Experience in the mortgage/loans financial sector is advantageous.
