Job Description
Job title: Desktop Support Technician Role Summary: Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, telephony, AV, and related peripheral devices, ensuring high customer satisfaction and compliance with service level agreements. Expactations: Deliver timely support across multiple sites, maintain professional standards, complete diagnostics and solutions independently, and support the organization’s technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver deskside, OSS, and FSO support for PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, desk telephony, AV equipment, comms room devices, cabling, and software installations. - Specify, install, and test computer systems and peripherals in accordance with established standards and guidelines. - Diagnose and resolve application and operating system issues, maintain accurate documentation, and create tickets in ServiceNow. - Administer Azure AD, Intune, and Microsoft Active Directory user groups, policies, and management concepts. - Support video‑conferencing equipment and provide basic LAN troubleshooting. - Travel to remote locations to provide on‑site assistance as required. - Work independently while adhering to SLAs and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Required Skills: - 6+ years of desktop support experience. - Proficient with Windows 11 and legacy Windows, Office 365, Teams, Google Workspace, and ServiceNow. - Experience with Azure AD, Intune, and Active Directory administration. - Basic knowledge of LAN technologies and hardware troubleshooting. - Strong verbal and written communication in English (local language communication an asset). - Excellent customer service orientation and ability to travel.
