Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior Tech Lead **Role Summary:** Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of advanced hybrid and multi‑cloud solutions supporting research & innovation (R&I) laboratory environments. Act as the global technical reference across multiple international sites, partnering with Solution Architects to align implementations with enterprise architecture and IT road‑maps. **Expectations:** - Deliver secure, compliant, and highly available solutions on AWS, Azure, and on‑premises infrastructures. - Drive integration of AI and HPC components into research platforms. - Mentor and upskill engineering teams while maintaining thorough technical documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and execute technology architecture and strategy for hybrid/multi‑cloud environments. - Lead the end‑to‑end design, implementation, and scaling of complex solutions across labs, workstations, local data centers, and cloud platforms. - Serve as the primary technical authority for R&I laboratory systems, troubleshooting distributed incidents. - Ensure security, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity standards in collaboration with dedicated teams. - Produce and maintain up‑to‑date technical and operational documentation. - Coach engineering staff, fostering skill development and best‑practice adoption. **Required Skills:** - Expert knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure) and hybrid architecture design. - Strong background in solution architecture for complex, distributed systems. - Experience integrating AI, machine learning, and high‑performance computing (HPC) workloads. - Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools. - Deep understanding of security, compliance, and cyber‑risk mitigation. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or similar).
