Network Security Architect – Banking/Fintech
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network security architecture, focusing on DNS, firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, and GRC. Provide technical leadership and collaborate across engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions for a banking/fintech environment.
**Expectations**
- Deliver secure network architectures that meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Manage projects from design through deployment, testing, and ongoing optimization.
- Provide expertise on risk and compliance, ensuring all solutions align with governance standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design and implement DNS infrastructure with high availability, performance, and security.
2. Architect, deploy, and manage secure proxy solutions (e.g., Zscaler, cloud‑based platforms).
3. Develop firewall architecture, network segmentation, and IDS/IPS strategies.
4. Integrate GRC controls across the network security framework.
5. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalable, resilient security solutions.
6. Lead technical reviews, troubleshoot complex network security issues, and mentor junior staff.
