Job Description
Job title: Healthcare Data Analyst Role Summary: Analyze and transform large-scale clinical study data from the SYDE medical device, developing pipelines, statistical models, and customized reporting tools to extract clinically relevant variables for neuromuscular and neurodegenerative studies. Collaborate closely with clinicians, biostatisticians, and technical teams to ensure data integrity, interpret results, and support evidence-based decision making. Expectations: - Deliver high-quality, reproducible data analyses that meet client specifications and regulatory standards. - Communicate findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and external clients. - Maintain rigorous documentation of methodologies, pipeline configurations, and analytic outputs. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement data processing pipelines for daily patient data ingestion and variable extraction. - Create personalized reporting systems for individual patient metrics and aggregate study results. - Perform exploratory and confirmatory statistical analyses; interpret and present clinical implications. - Specify functional requirements for automated analysis tools and participate in their development and deployment. - Generate technical solutions for data quality issues and analytical challenges. - Draft technical proposals, define deliverables, and estimate project workloads for multidisciplinary teams. Required Skills: - Proficiency in data engineering (Python, R, SQL, ETL tools). - Strong statistical analysis capabilities (regression, survival, mixed models). - Experience building end-to-end data pipelines and automated reporting workflows. - Knowledge of clinical data structures, including patient‑level longitudinal datasets. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex analyses for non‑technical audiences. - Fluent in English (written and spoken). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top engineering or statistics institution, with a focus on data science, biostatistics, or clinical research. - Professional certification in data analytics (e.g., SAS Certified Specialist, R Programming, or equivalent) preferred.
