Job Title: Salesforce Administrator
Role Summary
Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce environments, ensuring data integrity, security, integration, and user support. Balances technical development (Apex, Lightning, web services) with no-code solutions (Flows, Process Builder, Workflows) to deliver effective business automation and integration.
Expectations
Assume ownership of one or more Salesforce orgs, applying best practices in security, data quality, and change management. Deliver timely solutions for complex system issues, integrate third‑party applications, and support SDLC activities, including CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and version control.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Salesforce orgs, overseeing configuration, user management, data model, and security.
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Lightning Web Components, and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Create and manage no-code automation (Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules).
- Lead data migration, data quality initiatives, and integration projects with MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, Jitterbit, and AppExchange products.
- Implement authentication protocols (OAuth) for 3rd‑party integration.
- Execute SDLC processes: coding standards, change control, version management, CI/CD (Flosum).
- Troubleshoot complex incidents, coordinate with technical support, recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning), contributing to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Required Skills
- Salesforce Administration (setup, user, profiles/roles, permissions, security).
- Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Lightning Web Components development.
- HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery; REST, SOAP, JSON, XML web services.
- Data migration & data quality management.
- Integration tools: MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, Jitterbit, AppExchange.
- CI/CD/Version control (Flosum, Git, related tools).
- SDLC, Agile methodology, change management.
- OAuth, authentication protocols.
- Troubleshooting, incident/problem management.
- Strong communication & documentation.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM5) required; additional certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Platform App Builder, or Integration Architecture Designer beneficial.
