Job title: Marketing and Communication Intern Role Summary Internship supporting the Cleco brand marketing team, providing hands‑on assistance in digital marketing, content creation, audit/optimization of owned media channels, and customer success storytelling within a B2B industrial environment. Expectations * Deliver high-quality written content and data‑driven recommendations that enhance Cleco’s brand presence. * Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, sales, and engineering to translate technical information into clear, consumer‑friendly messaging. * Meet project deadlines and contribute actively to brainstorming, presentations, and marketing campaigns. * Demonstrate a proactive learning attitude, effectively using industry tools and platforms. Required Skills * Strong writing and editing abilities with an eye for brand storytelling and digital communication. * Ability to distill complex technical content into clear, user‑friendly messages. * Proficiency in presenting data‑based insights in a professional format. * Familiarity with LinkedIn and other business‑communication digital platforms. * Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP). * Proactive, team‑oriented mindset; eagerness to learn and adapt. * Bonus: experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools.
