Job Description

**Job Title** Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Networks Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, test, and implement secure OT/ICS network and cyber‑security solutions for industrial control system projects. Own technical delivery, documentation, and integration while supporting project timelines, quality, and safety. **Expectations** - Deliver OT network management and security controls on schedule and within budget. - Produce complete, traceable technical documentation. - Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, manage patches, and oversee password/security policy compliance. - Communicate progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager and engineering team. - Provide health‑and‑safety leadership on site. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and test secure OT/ICS networks (PLC, SCADA) using Rockwell Automation or Cisco industrial switches. - Deploy and configure Cisco Firepower firewalls, network segmentation, and passive NIDS. - Conduct system integration, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and performance verification. - Create and maintain design specs, test procedures, O&M manuals, and change records. - Support vulnerability assessment, patch management, and security hardening of OS/virtual environments. - Coordinate with Project Manager and Lead Engineers to align cyber‑security activities with overall project plan. **Required Skills** - Proven experience designing, implementing, and testing OT/ICS networks and cyber‑security solutions in industrial settings. - Full‑life‑cycle project experience from specification through commissioning. - Expertise in: • Network design with Rockwell Automation or Cisco industrial switches. • Cisco Firepower firewall design and implementation. • Network synchronization (NTP, time appliances). • OSI/TCP‑IP models and industrial protocols (EtherNet/IP, CIP Security). - Hands‑on hardening of virtual environments, OS, and network infrastructure (segmentation, boundary protection). - Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication abilities. - Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) with traceable deliverables. **Desirable Skills** - Knowledge of OT‑specific cyber‑security tools: EDR, IDS, network monitoring. - Experience with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor and Network Traffic Analyzer. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Cyber Security, or related technical field. - Relevant industry certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, CISA, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security).

Responsible for design, implementation, testing, and documentation of secure PLC, HMI, SCADA, and network infrastructures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project performance targets. Expectations: - Own technical delivery of OT network management and cyber security controls. - Manage own tasks, milestones, risks, and issues while coordinating with project teams. - Ensure projects meet time, quality, and cost objectives. - Provide technical support to project and commercial management, including sub‑contract oversight.
