Chief Technology Officer
**Role Summary**
Lead the transformation of an organization’s engineering practice from legacy models to a modern, AI‑driven, agentic development environment. Design and implement new architecture, tooling, automation, and delivery pipelines that shift product creation to a future‑ready culture with full executive backing and autonomy.
**Expectations**
- Own the end‑to‑end redesign of technology strategy and execution.
- Translate vision into actionable roadmaps, allocate resources, and communicate progress to the board.
- Establish and champion a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and data‑driven improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Architect and deliver a cloud‑native, microservices‑based stack that incorporates AI, LLM, and intelligent automation.
2. Create and execute a roadmap for AI‑assisted engineering workflows, tooling, and pipelines.
3. Lead cross‑functional teams in adopting new practices, providing guidance, training, and governance.
4. Define and monitor performance metrics (speed, quality, scalability) and iterate accordingly.
5. Cultivate an engineering culture focused on rapid experimentation, fail‑fast, and metric‑driven decisions.
6. Partner with product, data, security, and operations leadership to align technology strategy with business goals.
7. Present technology vision, progress, and ROI to executive leadership and the board.
**Required Skills**
- Senior technology leadership (CTO or equivalent) with proven success in scaling or transforming engineering at scale‑up/enterprise level.
- Deep expertise in modern software architecture, cloud-native technologies, containerization, CI/CD, observability, and distributed systems.
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML/LLM into development pipelines and production systems.
- Strong program and project management, stakeholder communication, and people‑management skills.
- Proven ability to shift organizational culture, drive rapid experimentation, and maintain a data‑centric mindset.
- Strategic thinking, change‑leadership, and ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Optional certifications: Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML foundational certificates (TensorFlow, PyTorch), or related professional credentials.
