Job title: Consultant SAP FICO (H/F)
Role Summary:
Senior SAP FICO consultant responsible for configuring, optimizing, and maintaining SAP FI & CO modules across a multi‑country scope. Works under the IT Manager to support finance, IT, and international projects, ensuring alignment with related SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, WM, QM) and S/4HANA updates.
Expectations:
Deliver functional design and configuration solutions that meet business requirements across multiple countries, support international SAP projects using Activate/ASAP methodologies, and provide ongoing user support and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze user requirements in different countries; document As‑Is and design To‑Be processes.
- Write functional specifications for SAP FI & CO components (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, COPA, fiscal modules, cost accounting, etc.).
- Configure key objects: company codes, chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, GL, AP, AR, AA, CO structures, COPA, tax codes, cost centers, internal orders.
- Ensure functional consistency with MM, SD, PP, WM, QM modules and coordinate with other SAP consultants.
- Participate in international SAP projects (Activate/ASAP), provide project, unit, integration, and UAT testing.
- Contribute to cut‑over, hyper‑care, and post‑go‑live support.
- Manage tickets, request tickets, and S/4HANA updates; maintain user documentation.
- Train and support Finance and operational teams on SAP FICO functionality.
Required Skills:
- Advanced expertise in SAP FI/CO (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, COPA, tax, credit management).
- Solid understanding of integrations with MM, SD, PP.
- Experience with S/4HANA (preferred).
- Knowledge of financial processes: order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, controlling.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑leadership skills.
- Multicultural teamwork experience; ability to work across multiple countries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (German a plus); French optional.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree (Bac +4) in Finance, Accounting, Management, or Information Technology (or equivalent experience).
- SAP FI/CO certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP FI/CO) is an asset.
