Job Specifications

Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in DH6, County Durham to assist them to find a One to One Teaching Assistant to support them ASAP.

The role is to work one to one with a child with a variety of needs and the candidate must be available from September 2025 to December 2025 at least as it is important that the child has consistency.

Responsibilities

Supporting a primary child with SEND needs who is currently awaiting an EHCP and Autism diagnosis
Extra support during lessons, with feeling and self care
Working independently with one child
To use own initiative and take the lead

Requirements

Confident and experienced in working with a child on a one to one basis
Level 2 Qualification
Provide 2 references, preferably from an educational background
To hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure
